Know about some diamond
Blue Diamond Blue Diamond

There's a scientific cause for appearance of colors in diamonds: the presence of an impurity. This is also true for blue diamonds. In "The Fancy Color Diamond Book," they explain that while a diamond is forming, boron particles can become trapped inside the crystal lattice. It is this substance that absorbs yellow light, thus reflecting a blue color.

Like any other colored diamond, blue stones can exhibit a wide range of hues, from pale shades that mimic a clear sky, to steel blue, to an intense deep sea. It's common to see blue diamond’s listed with more specific names regarding their shade, such as baby, royal, navy or midnight.

Yellow Diamond Yellow Diamond

Like any other natural diamond, Yellow Diamonds are formed over millions and millions of years. What causes the yellow coloring is the addition of Nitrogen within the compound element in the stone. The diamonds were formed in extremely high temperatures and immense pressure far below the surface of the earth. Once extracted, a diamond polisher who fully understand how to asses, cut, and polis the stone, will transform it from the rough it was into the unbelievable beauty we see in the jewellery.

Pink Diamond Pink Diamond

While we do know how colored diamonds get their color, for example blue diamonds get their color from traces of boron, yellow diamonds from Nitrogen, and the displacement of carbon atoms causes the color in green diamonds, to this day it is unclear how pink diamonds get theirs. No traces of elements have ever been found in pink diamonds...

It is believed that while the diamond is forced to the Earth's surface, due to intense heat and pressure the structure of the diamond is somehow altered, causing a deformation in the diamond's crystal lattice. This "flaw" forces the stone to absorb light differently and emit the pink hue.
